1801 â Black Ninja Bokken Sword
Ninja are very different from Samurai. Ninja were trained assassins, not toe to toe warriors. Their weaponry was also different from the iconic Katana Sword of the Samurai. The Ninja used a straight bladed sword called a Ninjato or Ninjaken. These blades were not made to the same specifications as the Katana Sword, and the blades were a few inches shorter. The Ninjato was also not viewed with the same reverence as the Katana Sword, it was simply another tool to kill with.
